PROJECT OVERVIEW

Burger Brewery fills a unique gap in the market by creating a destination centered around handcrafted burgers and thoughtfully selected craft beers. Rather than treating food and drink as separate offerings, the brand celebrates their relationship—bringing together two passionate audiences through a shared appreciation for quality, flavour, and discovery. The identity was designed to reflect this balance, feeling equally at home in the worlds of gourmet food and craft brewing.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

The challenge was to create a brand identity for a category that did not yet exist in a defined way. Burger Brewery needed to appeal to two distinct audiences—those seeking curated gourmet burgers and those drawn to the culture of craft beer. The identity had to bridge these worlds seamlessly, creating a visual language that felt equally authentic to both while establishing Burger Brewery as a destination built around the art of pairing.

OUR APPROACH

We approached the identity through the lens of pairing—where handcrafted burgers and craft brews come together to create a richer experience. Rather than borrowing cues solely from burger chains or brewery culture, we developed a visual system that balanced indulgence with craft. Anchored by the brand philosophy, “It’s Hearty!”, the identity combines expressive typography, warm colours, and a flexible graphic language that extends across packaging, merchandise, social media, and physical spaces. The result is a cohesive brand experience that celebrates flavour, discovery, and the connection between every sip and stack.
