Project Overview
The project involved rebranding House This, a subsidiary of Surya Exports, established in 1988 with a mission to showcase India’s diverse handicraft and textile traditions globally. Our task encompassed conceptualizing sub-divisions, designing logos, symbols, and a user-friendly website for enhanced online shopping experience.
Problem Statement
House This sought a modern rebrand while retaining its Indian essence, facing challenges in standing out in a competitive online market. The existing branding lacked cohesion and failed to resonate with evolving consumer preferences. Our challenge was to infuse contemporary appeal without diluting its cultural roots, ensuring seamless transition across various touchpoints.
Our Approach
To meet House This’s objectives, we began with comprehensive market research and client consultations. We crafted a strategy focusing on segmenting collections into classic, nature, abstract, and art-inspired categories. Our design ethos blended modernity with tradition, evident in the redrawn logotype and symbolic representation of a complete home experience. Emphasizing user engagement, we prioritized intuitive website design, fostering interaction and sharing among customers. Additionally, we envisioned stand-alone stores and curated quarterly brochures for enhanced brand presence. Overall, our approach integrated future expansion plans while revitalizing House This’s brand identity.
